Our Cape Cod cleaning service areas, end to end
Sentinel Cleaning Company has worked the same stretch of coastline since 2008, and our Cape Cod cleaning service areas run the full length of the peninsula: from Bourne at the canal, along both shorelines, out through the elbow at Chatham, and up the forearm to the tip at Provincetown. Seventeen towns and villages in total, covering roughly seventy miles of road from one end to the other.
Our base is Hyannis, 02601, which sits close to the middle of that span. That matters more than it sounds. A company based off Cape has to cross a bridge before the work starts. We do not. It means shorter drives, more realistic scheduling promises, and the ability to add a job late in the week when someone calls with a problem.
What every town on this list shares is the coastal environment. Salt air films glass and corrodes hardware. Sand travels inland from every beach and buries itself in grout, carpet backing, and slider tracks. Humidity from June through September pushes mildew into bathrooms, closets, and cellars, especially in houses that sit closed. What differs is the rhythm: how long the season runs, how fast properties turn over, and how much of the town is still occupied in February.
Towns with a dedicated page
Five towns have enough distinct character that we have written full pages for them, covering neighborhoods, property types, and local seasonality.

Upper, mid, lower, and outer Cape
Upper Cape
Bourne, Sandwich, Falmouth, and Mashpee. Closest to the bridges, largest year round populations, and the steadiest twelve month demand for recurring household cleaning.
Mid Cape
Barnstable and its seven villages, plus Yarmouth and Dennis. The commercial and population center. Everything happens here, from office contracts to Saturday turnovers.
Lower Cape
Harwich, Brewster, Chatham, and Orleans. More seasonal, higher value summer homes, and a sharper drop off in occupancy after Labor Day.
Outer Cape
Eastham, Wellfleet, Truro, and Provincetown. The most exposed shoreline, the tightest season, and the towns that need the most advance scheduling from us.
Services in all Cape Cod cleaning service areas
Location does not limit what we offer. Every one of our services is available in all 17 Cape Cod cleaning service areas.
We also handle post construction cleanup and recurring maintenance schedules. The services overview covers all of it, and the pricing page explains how quotes are built.
How scheduling works by distance
Being straight about geography saves everyone time. Cape Cod is long and narrow, and Route 6 is the only real artery. In August that road decides how many jobs a crew can finish in a day.
- Fastest response: Hyannis, Barnstable villages, Osterville, Yarmouth, Dennis, and Mashpee. Same day is often possible, especially off season.
- Next day typical: Sandwich, Bourne, Falmouth, Harwich, Brewster, and Orleans. We group these into planned days when volume allows.
- Advance booking recommended: Chatham, Eastham, Wellfleet, Truro, and Provincetown. In summer, plan two to four weeks ahead. Standing weekly slots should be set in the spring.
Getting a quote for your town
Call 774.810.5165 or email info@sentinelcleaningservice.com. Tell us the town, the property type, the bedroom and bathroom count, and whether it is a rental with a turnover schedule. We will explain what the job involves and what scheduling looks like for your part of the Cape.
We are open seven days a week from 7am to 9pm, including evenings, because rentals and offices rarely need cleaning during business hours. Our teams are insured and background checked, we hold a 5.0 rating on Google based on 10 reviews, and Priscilla Barbosa has led this company since 2008. Frequently Asked Questions
Do you really cover the whole Cape, or just the mid Cape?
We cover all 17 towns and villages listed on this page, from Bourne at the canal to Provincetown at the tip. Our base is Hyannis, so the mid Cape gets the fastest response. Upper Cape and outer Cape work is grouped into planned days so crews arrive on schedule rather than driving back and forth across Route 6.
Which towns can you reach same day?
Hyannis, Barnstable and its villages, Yarmouth, Dennis, Mashpee, and Osterville are all short drives from our base and are the most likely same day options. Sandwich, Bourne, Falmouth, Harwich, Brewster, and Orleans are usually next day. Chatham, Eastham, Wellfleet, Truro, and Provincetown need more notice, especially in summer.
Is pricing different depending on the town?
The service is the same everywhere. What changes the quote is the property: square footage, number of bathrooms, condition, and how often we come. Distance can affect scheduling windows more than price. We give a specific quote per property rather than a flat rate by town, because two houses in the same town can be very different jobs.
Can you manage properties in more than one town for the same owner?
Yes, and we do it regularly for owners and property managers with several rentals spread across the Cape. Send us the full list of addresses and booking calendars and we will build a schedule that groups jobs sensibly by geography, so crews are not crossing the Cape twice in one day.
Do you serve Martha's Vineyard or Nantucket?
No. We are a Cape Cod company and we stay on the Cape. Our service ends at the Cape Cod Canal on one side and Provincetown on the other. We do work with many properties near the Hyannis and Woods Hole ferry terminals whose guests travel to the islands, but we do not send crews across the water.
How do I get a quote for my town?
Call 774.810.5165 or email info@sentinelcleaningservice.com with your town, property type, and rough bedroom and bathroom count. If it is a rental, include the turnover schedule. We will tell you what the job involves, what it will cost, and what scheduling looks like for your part of the Cape. We are open seven days, 7am to 9pm.
Wherever you are on Cape Cod, we can quote your property. One call covers every town on this page.
